Hi there! I’m Isabella Moreno, a 38-year-old self-taught chef, recipe developer, and food lover based in Charlotte, North Carolina.

My love for cooking started in my grandmother’s kitchen, where I learned that the best meals are not just made with ingredients, but with patience, curiosity, and a little bit of instinct. My earliest kitchen memory involves a pan of overcooked rice, a very patient family, and a promise that I would get better. I did, and I never stopped learning.

A Non-Traditional Path to the Kitchen

I did not take the classic culinary school route. Instead, I studied nutrition, worked in busy family restaurants, and spent years cooking for friends, neighbors, and anyone willing to try a new recipe. Over time, that passion turned into a career built around real food, practical cooking, and recipes that feel exciting without being complicated.

Along the way, I continued sharpening my skills through hands-on practice and ongoing study, including:
